OLD WINES
Garnacha
Fifteen months aging in new French oak barrels.
Four generations of a Riojan family, ‘Martínez’ by surname and ‘Corta’ by nickname. We were expert butchers – ‘cortadores’ it was said a century ago – and later, vine growers and winemakers. All of this always with passion, dedication, and tenacity. The roots of Catalina Martínez extend beneath our feet and will continue to nourish the fruit of our labor for many years. A work based on enthusiasm and love for a land that has been passed down from generation to generation.
TASTING NOTE
Color: Cherry red with garnet rim. Aroma: Notes of red and black fruit jam, with a toasted background and subtle balsamic hints. Palate: Soft and well-integrated tannins. Balanced, flavorful, and persistent, with hints of roasted flavors and spices.
