BORNOS Bodegas & Viñedos becomes BORNOS Wines & Spirits, strengthening its global identity with a new corporate image

The change also reflects the integration of the Mexican distillery Casa D’Aristi and a clear visual differentiation of its wineries, with the Group’s image acting as an umbrella brand for all of them.

BORNOS Bodegas & Viñedos takes a decisive step in its evolution with the announcement of its new corporate identity. From now on, the company will operate under the name BORNOS Vinos & Licores, a change that marks a key differentiation between the Group and its individual wineries, while also reinforcing its multinational expansion, especially in the spirits sector, with the integration of the Mexican distillery Casa D’Aristi.

This change is partly the result of BORNOS’ connection with Mexico, established six years ago when the company was acquired by FIRMAS GLOBALES, a Mexican business conglomerate. This acquisition not only strengthened the Group’s ties to the international market but also paved the way for the recent addition of Casa D’Aristi, a renowned distillery in the Yucatán Peninsula, specializing in the production of high-quality artisanal spirits.

“The integration of Casa D’Aristi and the redesign of our visual identity reflect our ambition to diversify and expand, while maintaining the essence that has made BORNOS a reference in the wine world,” says Fernando Zaratiegui, General Manager of BORNOS Vinos & Licores. “Our connection with Mexico, established through Firmas Globales, has been a catalyst in this evolution, allowing us to merge the best of two worlds: Spanish wine and Mexican spirits.”

A new visual approach for a brand in expansion

The name change and the new visual identity aim not only to reflect the Group’s diversification into spirits but also to clearly distinguish BORNOS’ identity from one of its most iconic wineries, Palacio de Bornos. With this redesign, each of the Group’s wineries maintains its unique character and personality, while BORNOS Vinos & Licores projects a more refined, elegant, and timeless corporate image, suitable for its global expansion.

The wineries that are part of BORNOS Vinos & Licores are some of the most recognized in the wine industry: Palacio de Bornos (D.O. Rueda), Señorío de Sarría (D.O. Navarra), Lleiroso and Dominio de Bornos (D.O. Ribera del Duero), Martínez Corta (D.O.Ca. Rioja), Bucrana (D.O. Toro), and Guelbenzu (Finca la Lombana). Joining them now is Casa D’Aristi (Yucatán – Mexico), bringing a new dimension to the Group’s portfolio with its exclusive spirits.

A modern and timeless identity

The redesign of BORNOS Vinos & Licores’ graphic identity has focused on projecting a sophisticated and modern identity that can remain relevant over time. With an image that reflects the company’s sobriety and prestige, the Group remains committed to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. This change will allow BORNOS to strengthen its position in both the wine and spirits markets, maintaining a unique connection between Spain and Mexico.

BORNOS Vinos & Licores is thus positioned to successfully face future challenges, consolidating its international presence and adapting to industry trends, always under the premise of excellence.
